Position Summary:  The Program Coordinator is responsible for all operational aspects of the University's Community Auditing Program (CAP) and the Program in Continuing Education (CE), reporting to the administrative assistant on a day-to day basis and to the director of Community Relations and the Director, Community & Regional Affairs for policy and programmatic issues. This position also oversees the University's Surplus Equipment program in conjunction with the Purchasing Office and serves as the initial point of contact for all internal and external phone, email and in-person inquiries for the Office of Community & Regional Affairs.

Principal Duties:
Managing the Community Auditing and Continuing Education programs including:
Organize and manage bi-annual online and in-person CAP and CE registration process including contacting faculty and departments to obtain authorization for CAP course auditing and preparation of each new semester's online CAP course registration system.
Design and prepare print and electronic course list and publications/communications, maintain and update web content and process applications and monitor enrollment procedures.
Respond to routine and complex inquiries about the two programs from faculty, staff and members of the community and perform routine classroom monitoring of auditors; resolve disputes with program participants.
Plan for special lectures sponsored by Community Auditing Program including the four-part lecture series and the semester-end 'auditor only' special lecture; arrange for faculty speakers, oversee logistics and execution.
Work closely with campus partners in operational aspects of CE and CAP program, i.e., Dean of Faculty, Dean of the College, Office of the Registrar, and Office of Information Technology.
Generate reports related to program activity, registration and finances for CE and CAP.

Surplus Equipment Program: oversee the University's program in conjunction with the Purchasing Office.

Office support: Serve as receptionist for the office, respond to walk-in and email traffic and assist with other office tasks as needed and assigned by the Administrative Assistant and Directors.
