Must have strong clinical skills, end of life care experience and the desire to work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient comfort and family support. Very limited, secondary on-call (possibly once per month if that often). HOURS: 8AM- 4:30PM Monday- Friday. Salary commensurate with experience.

Job Description:
Direct program operations and staff at WIC sites to assess office flow and ensure department activities are essential and carried out economically and efficiently.
Responsible for adherence to annual budgetary guidelines in coordination with Fiscal Manager and implement systematic adjustments as needed.
Coordinate with Hudson Perinatal (is this correct?) Consortium proper breastfeeding services.
Direct the Management of caseload in accordance with the WIC program’s monthly caseload management plan.
Maintain awareness of problem areas, identify root cause and deficiencies, and provide recommendations for organizational improvement.
Evaluate new personnel and existing staff for compliance with NHCAC Employee Handbook and performance criteria.
Apply for WIC funding in order to meet community needs, program objectives and to adhere to grant requirements.
Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Departmental Progress Reports, reply to NJ WIC Correspondence, Star Review and Request for Proposals.
Investigate Dual Participant Report issued by State WIC and take appropriate action to comply with WIC policy.
Conduct Biannual internal monitoring in preparation for State audits.
Coordinate the Fair Hearing process for local WIC recipients threatened with termination.
Attend mandatory administration meetings, Forum NJ Coordinator Meetings, yearly National WIC association Conference and Training Workshops as needed.
Ensure staff is trained on NJ State WIC policies and procedures and establish and evaluate training procedures.
Implement the program to assure maximum service to participants.
